Talk to an Advisor

New students can meet with an Enrollment Advisor for help with 招生, “MyChecklist” enrollment steps, first-semester 登记等等.

注意: If you still need to apply for 招生, go to the Apply to Pima page to complete the 招生 application to receive your Student ID Number (A number).

In-Person Appointments

Select a campus to sign up for a 30-minute new student enrollment advising appointment:

Appointments are available Monday-Thursday, 9 am-5 pm. 

Virtual Call Backs

Do you have 招生 or 登记 questions but can’t make it to campus? Sign up online to receive a same-day virtual call back from an Enrollment Advisor. 

Virtual call backs are available Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. & 星期五,上午10点.m.-5 p.m.

Limited Walk-in Services

For new student advising, please schedule an in-person appointment by campus, virtual call back, or follow your “MyChecklist” enrollment steps. Student Services Centers offer limited walk-in services for general information and quick transactions (add/drop, 持有, 等.) with availability depending on the campus, day, time, and staffing.

Current students can meet with their assigned Program Advisor for help with academic advising, program requirements,创建一个 MyDegreePlan, 登记, 毕业, 转移等等. Want to see who your Advisor is and who you are connecting with? 参观 Meet My Advisor page.

建议 Appointments for Current Students

PimaConnect to schedule a 30-minute appointment with your assigned Program Advisor. PimaConnect provides a way to connect with your success network of advisors, 辅导员, 教练, success coaches, and services that can give you the tools and information you need to stay on track and complete your academic goals.

To stay on track, you should meet with your Advisor at least once a semester and follow the Academic 建议 Syllabus. The advising syllabus helps you prepare for meeting with an Advisor, explains the advising process, and keeps you organized.

Visiting Students

If you are enrolled at another college or university and plan on taking courses at Pima to have credits 转移red back, you are considered a visiting student. To apply as a visiting student, go to our Apply to Pima page to complete 招生 and receive your Student ID Number (A number).

Prerequisite Override

If you are trying to register for a class at Pima and the prerequisite was completed at another college or university, you may be eligible for a prerequisite override. To request a prerequisite override, please email pcc-enroll@pima.从你的 MyPima account. For the fastest help, please include the following information in your email:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your Pima Student ID number (A#)
  • The course you would like to take at Pima, including the course prefix, course number, and term.
  • Unofficial transcripts showing successful completion of the prerequisite (Required)
